Seven Ventures Awarded $$ and Honorable Mentions in First Round Pitch

Nineteen ventures competed to win a semi-finalist spot in the Final Pitch Competition during the First Round Pitch competition, held Saturday February 23rd.  However, this cohort was so strong the judges decided they had to recognize and support several ventures that were not selected for the Final Pitch Competition. In addition to the funding, all but one (who is an alumni) of these ventures have the ability to gain add support through various on-campus resources.

These ventures will fall under the Center for Innovation and Impact direction and guidance. Bara Watts has pledged to work with each of these First Round Winners to help them access the on-campus resources and to work towards success.
